The History of Valencia and the surrounding area is fascinating, founded by Romans in 138BC and later occupied by Moors, the famous knight, El Cid, freed the City of Moors at the end of the eleventh century only for it to be taken by the Almoravids around 200 years later.

Valencia is a vibrant modern industrial and commercial city and many visitors choose to come back time and again to this lovely area, some of them purchase second homes so they can enjoy the island throughout the year.
