Your Singapore employer has to apply for the visa and sponsor you. It\u2019s typically valid for 1-2 years and can be renewed based on your work contract. It\u2019s important to note that employers only hire a certain amount of people on this visa, so it\u2019s quite competitive.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"entrepass-or-entrepreneur-pass-scheme\">Entrepass or Entrepreneur Pass Scheme<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mom.gov.sg\/passes-and-permits\/entrepass\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Entrepass or Entrepreneur Pass Scheme<\/a> is aimed at UK entrepreneurs wishing to set up a business in Singapore. The business must be a private limited company registered with ACRA and in either the technology, sustainability, or innovation sectors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must have started the business less than 6 months ago to apply and if not registered, you must do so within 30 days of approval.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To qualify, your business will need to meet one of the following requirements:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Receive funding from a government-recognised venture capitalist&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part of a recognised accelerator program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holds intellectual property rights related to the business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has a strong research and development component.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has significant success already&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"singapore-family-visas\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Singapore_Family_Visas\"><\/span>Singapore Family Visas&nbsp;&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of family visas you can apply for to move to Singapore.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"dependant-pass\">Dependant Pass&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If your spouse or parent is an Employment Pass or S Pass holder, you can apply for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mom.gov.sg\/passes-and-permits\/dependants-pass\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dependant Pass<\/a> to live in Singapore. You won\u2019t be able to work until you apply for the correct work pass, but you can live with your family. This rises to SGD 12,000 per month for those wishing to bring their parents to Singapore. The government prioritises skilled professionals but maintains strict immigration policies. There are however multiple routes to applying for<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/reside\/PR\/apply\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> permanent residency in Singapore<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After holding an Employment Pass or S-Pass for a few years, you can apply for permanent residency. If you are married to a Singapore citizen this typically grants you permanent residency. For those who invest heavily in Singapore, you can apply via the Global Investor Program.
