Every country has some landmarks they’re particularly proud of. They give a sense of national pride, comradery and in some cases generate a tremendous amount of revenue from tourism alone.
Here at 1st Move we’ve been flexing our creative muscles to visualise what some of these mishmashes in cultures would look like, and just in case any government was interested we’ve worked out exactly how much it would cost to make it happen (turns out, it’s quite a lot!).
For example, if President Trump decided that building a wall on the border was in fact, too much effort and instead chose to move an existing one, it would take an eye-watering £1.8 trillion to ship over the Great Wall from China to the Mexican border.
Or perhaps you fancied seeing Brazil’s behemoth Christ The Redeemer statue sitting next to the Westminster Abbey. Well, it would cost around £17.7 million for the pleasure, but, a small price to pay to liven up the capital’s skyline.
