Here you will find important information on international removals to Dubai including transit times, shipping costs, customs formalities, the types of services we offer (full container / shared container) and how our unique packing works.
We have pioneered bespoke packing methods to offer the safest way of shipping your personal effects and household goods to all main ports, towns and cities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and more and we have become the UK's leading independent mover to the UAE.
Moving to Dubai During The COVID-19 Pandemic
1st Move International have taken steps to ensure the safety of both our staff and customers and we continue to remain open and committed to providing overseas removals services during the pandemic, as per government and BAR guidelines.
Our packing procedures offer a COVID-safe method of shipping your belongings overseas, protecting your goods from unnecessary handling and isolating them from the outside world until arrival at your door.
Rather than simply shipping items loosely in a container, we combine the contents of your move onto individual pallets and shrink-wrap each pallet to prevent any handling of individual items and to provide a shield against the outside world. This zero touch method of packing and delivery ensures your personal belongings remain protected and untouched upon arrival at your door.
Palletising your shipment means we can easily and accurately measure the size of your move. There's no guessing and we guarantee that you only pay for exactly what you ship. No more, no less. Read more about our smarter pricing here.
Unlike other movers, we can guarantee regular weekly shipments direct to Dubai from the UK. Once your belongings are packed we will immediately schedule for the next available weekly sailing. No waiting around! You can then track your container here.
Thanks to the reduced handling and improved protection that our packing offers, we have some of the lowest insurance claims on record. Full cover is provided by insurance giants Royal Sun Alliance. Read more about our international removals insurance.
